When you think about the reason behind the infant mortality rate within the African American population you have to dig deep into the historical facts of our genetic coding in order to identify with why it is so important to know our history, thus giving us a chance to change our future. Yes indeed it hard to survive being Black in America. Even though we strive for better living conditions, better education, better social status, we are still rated the highest in maternal and infant death. This my friend is unnatural to the progression of human life. This my friend is a problem.
